Statements of Concern about CBT/GET provided for the High Court Judicial Review of February 2009

Following on from the disappointment of the unsuccessful Judicial Review brought in February by two ME sufferers against NICE, this article by Margaret Williams contains statements that were provided by ME experts to the lawyers but which were sadly not used during the JR. They clearly provide further evidence that the usual recommendations of Graded Exercise Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy are at best unhelpful and can be positively harmful for those suffering from ME, a neurological disorder.
